TTR Phase 4

Happy getting closer to spring my friends!

Phase #4 is Strength #1 so we will be working on taking advantage of the flexibility, mobility, posture, stability and muscle growth from the prior phases to start working on strength. Like always and especially for strength, work on your breathing, posture and perfect form! What you put in is what you get out!

I also emphasized the importance of personalizing the 'cardio' portion of the program by encouraging you to modify existing recommendations to create specificity towards the requirements of any events you are training for. For some of you that means adding more volume on your trainer/bike to accommodate for a longer distance race/ride this season.

Keep at it kids! All this off season training ALWAYS pays off with a more enjoyable summer in the form of better results, improved skills, better strength and stability, endurance and injury resistance!
